Why does it seem so hard for kids to say those two words? I just don't get it. Just a few short years ago, when I was growing up, I HAD to say yes maam, no sir, please, and thank you. What's happened to that?! I can't get a single kid to say any of those EVER! Even if I say thank you, they don't reply with your welcome. It's my goal to have the kids saying it without prompting them. :)
I can't imagine how proud parents are of their kids when they bring home good grades, but I can tell you how proud this teacher is when her kids made GREAT grades. One my students made the A and B honor roll for the first time ever this 9 weeks!! He was very low in reading at the beginning of the year. He has made so much improvement. He is reading all the time and his reading grade was an 82! I am very proud of how hard my kiddos work.
I am getting ready to go to the Alabama Football Celebration at Bryant-Denny. :) I love this place!
