Hospitals...

I hate hospitals. I hate the smells. I hate the lights. I hate people who won't tell you anything. I hate it. And you may ask yourself why I am talking about that? It's because I am sitting the hospital right now as my daddy lays in the bed. He's really sick and I came to help out. Which brings me to saying, I love having a job where the teachers treat each other like family. When I spoke with my principal today about missing school tomorrow and possibly Friday, he wanted to know what he could do for me. Then, my roommates assured me they would take care of my business while I wasn't there. The teachers I work with were so nice about me missing their classes tomorrow. What a relief!!
Sunday I met with Sister Madeleine about getting my masters. I am so excited. I love learning. I am excited to know I will be serving my students better.
This week we are learning how to multiply 2 numbers times 1 number. It is so funny watching my kids try to make sense of it all. I must say I am very proud of their progress in these 3 days. They have impressed me! What a wonderful sight it is to see a child make sense of what they are learning. And a relief too!!
